Coleen Wilson, DNP, RN, NEA-BC

Coleen Wilson, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, is an assistant adjunct professor in the UCLA School of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer at the UCLA West Valley Medical Center. She has over 20 years of experience at UCLA Health, showcasing her clinical expertise and dedication to patient care. She served as the interim CNO for UCLA West Valley Medical Center, aiding its transition to UCLA Health. Previously, as Senior Director of Adult In-Patient Nursing at Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center, she played a key role in the hospital's stroke certifications.

Known for her innovative nursing management, Dr. Wilson designed UCLA Health Nursing's professional governance structure, promoting empowering nurse decision-making. She also introduced the Human-Centered Leadership framework to enhance nurse leaders' development.
